Thfire.com Everyday news that matters Wikileaks has in the past few days become an outcast and it being attacked from everywhere. Its latest blow strikes directly in its money flow. PayPal(Under US pressure) has closed Wikileaks account which it was using to collect donations online.
Truth is no longer welcomed in this world
Donations has been the only lifeline of Wikileaks. Just few days back its bank account was frozen. Now so has its PayPal account. Wikileaks Tweeted of this, “PayPal bans WikiLeaks after US government pressure http://is.gd/ibbwG“.
Amazon too had cancelled Wikileaks server today. But it was back online within a few hours from a Swedish server. Amazon move was a pretty cowardly act, its disgusting, they just bend to pressure with no reason at all on why to cancel Wikileaks’s Server. As a matter of fact that server didn’t host any of the leaked documents. It just hosted the index pointing to the information. Wikileaks Tweeted, “Amazon’s press release does not accord with the facts on public record. It is one thing to be cowardly. Another to lie about it.”
Things seems to be getting worse for Wikileaks at the movement everyone is trying to make it disappear though it can’t be done directly because Wikileaks its pretty must stable and can’t be taken down in one blow, though they have been trying all sorts of shadow techniques to pull Wikileaks off the internet. For one it is being constantly DDoS’ed.
Wikileaks’s official domain Wikileaks.org was killed off the web by US company EveryDNS.net. EveryDNS said it was unable to handle the DoS attack on Wikileaks.org and hence had to do so to protect its other customers. Another US company just betrayed its customer.
Wikileaks Tweeted, “The first serious infowar is now engaged. The field of battle is WikiLeaks. You are the troops”
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange continues to remain in a mysterious location. The Interpol has issued arrest warrant against him.
Amidst all this fuss going on to kill Wikileaks. Congressman Ron Paul support Wikileaks but did not speak on the crises that Wikileaks is currently facing. Ron Paul said,”What we need is more WikiLeaks about the Federal Reserve,” he said. “Can you imagine what it’d be like if we had every conversation in the last 10 years with our Federal Reserve people, the Federal Reserve chairman, with all the central bankers of the world and every agreement or quid-pro-quo they have? It would be massive. People would be so outraged.”
The most troubling fact is the US government and many others are struggling to find something illegal that Wikileaks or Julian Assange could have done so that they can stop Wikileaks from letting the people know the truth.
Many Republicans have called for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, an Australian, to be prosecuted under the US Espionage Act, or for his site to be deemed a “foreign terrorist organization.” The Department of Justice said it was looking into who leaked the massive caches of documents to Assange and whether or not he could be prosecuted.
Ron Paul also Tweeted, “In a free society, we are supposed to know the truth,” he wrote. “In a society where truth becomes treason, we are in big trouble.”
Well it already seems that we are living in a society where Truth has indeed become Treason. Wikileaks is one very good example. Its time for the people to speak out to their “Democratic” Government and let them know who the Boss is and the Boss would like to know the Truth.
The USA is no longer the Land of the Free, home of the brave. The US Government has betrayed its people. The US Government is itself so scared to let the people know the TRUTH about their Government. This is NOT Democracy! When people have no idea what their Government is doing and their Government is trying hard to hide the Truth from its people. Without any doubt we can say that US is no longer a Democratic country.
