Martin Bashir Quits Over Sarah Palin Remarks!

The top newsman, Martin Bashir who is know for his TV interviews with Michael Jackson and Princess Diana was forced to step down from his job as an anchorman for U.S. political news network MSNBC after he made offensive comments about Sarah Palin.

Martin Bashir did get himself into trouble and had already already acknowledged when he made the rudest and meanest comments against the former Governor of Alaska and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate.

Martin Bashir said that Sara Palin should be defecated on for her remarks about U.S. federal deficit last month.

On his daily show earlier this week (beg02Dec13), the newsman said, “I made some comments which were deeply offensive and directed at Governor Sarah Palin. I wanted to take this opportunity to say sorry to Mrs. Palin, and to also offer an unreserved apology to her friends and family, her supporters, our viewers, and anyone who may have heard what I said.

“My words were wholly unacceptable. They were neither accurate, nor fair. They were unworthy of anyone who would claim to have an interest in politics, and they have brought shame upon my friends and colleagues at this network, none of whom were responsible for the things that I said.”

Palin pulled the plug on a planned interview on MSNBC’s sister network NBC following Bashir’s remarks.

On Wednesday (04Dec13), the Brit announced he was resigning, stating, “After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday. Upon further reflection, and after meeting with the President of MSNBC, I have tendered my resignation.”

Bashir joined the network in 2010.
