Oklahoma Mom shoots the intruders while on Phone with 911

An Oklahoma Mother has braved her life to protect her 3 month baby from two intruders who tried to enter her home forcefully. The mother shot the intruders with the 911 dispatcher on phone with her.

“All i wanted is to protect my son”, says the young mother McKinley to ABC News. The conversation between the Mother and the 911 dispatcher seems chilling. The 911 dispatcher told the mother not to shot until the intruders break into her home.

The Conversation Moment with 911 dispatcher

Mother : I am here by Myself with my Infact baby.

Mother : Can i please get a dispatcher out here  immediately?

Dispatcher: Are your doors locked?

Mother :  Yes, i have got two guns in my hands. Is it okay to shoot him if he comes through this door?

Dispatcher: I cant tell you that you can do that but you do what you have to do to protect your baby.

The Mother has done the right thing according to the local police who says the act falls under the right to self defense. As per law, it is allowed for an American citizen to use a deadly weapon for self defense in life threatening situations.

I still get goosebumps on the presence of mind shown by McKinley. The moment she noticed the burglars she took her son away from the room and gave him a bottle of milk to make him stop crying.

Man, this is really an act of bravery. What emotions would have been flowing through her mind at that very moment.
