Legendary singer, Aretha Franklin is battling pancreatic cancer and is recovering at a hospital after undergoing surgery last week. Longtime friend, Reverend Jesse Jackson, visited the singer at the hospital and told the Associated Press that her “spirits are high, and her faith is strong.
