Thfire.com Everyday news that matters A prolonged battle within ICC on whether the Test match be allowed to play as day & night comes to an end. ICC has finally decided that it will go ahead with the experiment of day & night match at late 2010.
Now this seems interesting as many debates arise with the decision. One of the crucial factor is that ‘making a ball that would suit the test condition’ . ICC says that its working on the trails of the appropriate ball and promises that the ball will be ready when the actual day and night test matches starts.
Many cricketers including Sachin tendulkar, Adam Gilchrist, and ex-cricketers are still favoring test match over T20 which they call a ‘real test for a real player’. This ICC decision has surely created Buzz, but to see whether its success or not the fans have to wait a little.
