Position: Technical Support Engineer
Salary: £30K Base + Travel Expenses + Benefits
Location: Berkshire + up to 50% Global Travel

My client, a growing and successful Global organisation involved in the manufacture of Printers for the gaming industry (Casinos, betting shops, bingo halls etc) are seeking a reliable and ambitious Technical Support Engineer to provide support to their international customers (both OEM Vendors and end users).

The role will involve providing technical support and fault rectification and resolution for their range of printers and requires a confident individual who will be as at home solving demanding technical problems, training customers as entertaining them. The candidate will be comfortable with spending up to 50% of the time abroad and working autonomously.

The successful candidate will have at least two years experience in a Mechanical Design and Electronic environment and be adept with writing and testing customer Firmware. Knowledge of basic programming is beneficial (eg C, C++, VC++, Cobol, Pascal) as would an understanding of barcodes.
