IT Installer and Trainer Jobs in UK

Reach Data Technologies Ltd is a company that supplies specialist IT equipment and training to students in higher education who are in receipt of a Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), funded through bodies such as Student Finance England (SFE), the NHS and the Open University.
We are currently seeking a member of staff to install and demonstrate the IT equipment at the student’s accommodation, and during later visits to also provide training in the use of any specialist software titles that were supplied to the student. Specialist software titles include voice recognition software, screen reading software, mind mapping software, Optical Character Recognition software, as well as the use of scanners, digital Dictaphones. Delivery and training is on a one-to-one basis, as each student may have slightly different requirements.
In-house training will be provided. Our clients are mainly based in the Midlands area, but may also be in other parts of the UK such as Canterbury, Gillingham, London, and Newcastle. A pool of company vans is available for travel to our clients.
The successful candidate will be part of a team currently consisting of 6 people, 3 trainers/installers, 1 engineer and 2 directors/trainers/installers. The candidate will be reporting directly to one of the 2 directors.

Qualifications:
NVQ or equivalent qualification in general IT
Good problem solving skills, logical thinking, fluency in MS Windows, MS Office
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Clean driving licence
Current CRB enhanced disclosure certificate
Work under set timescales and flexibility to meet clients’ needs

Remuneration:
Salaries will be negotiated against individuals experience and expertise. Packages will include 21 days holiday. All tools required to undertake the job will be provided including Laptops and mobile phone.
