On Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Prospect Park’s Nethermead Field there will be a Michael Jackson Birthday party from Noon-6pm. Their is no admission!! Its FREE!!!
Fans gathered outside Michael Jackson’s boyhood home in Gary, Ind. Saturday on the eve of what would have been the late singer’s 52nd birthday.
Jackson impersonators as well as other local entertainers were on hand.
Members of the Jackson family also were there, including Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, who cut a birthday cake.
The city of Gary hosted a similar tribute in June on the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death.
