“They are engaged,” the actor’s rep confirms to the Daily News.
The couple, who have been dating for three years, spent the better part of their relationship dodging engagement rumors.
After the couple took a vacation during Thanksgiving in 2009, rumors swirled that the Victoria’s Secret model was set to walk down the aisle with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor. The couple also shot down a false engagement report in 2008 – just six months before Kerr was spotted wearing a shiny piece of bling on her ring finger.
Amid the misleading stories, Bloom told reporters last year, “We are just enjoying our time together now.”
Keeping with their hush-hush relationship, Kerr coyly told People.com in 2008 that Bloom is “a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say.”
