Will Forte says bye to SNL

Looks like its the end of MacGruber(Will Forte) in Saturday Night Live. It seems he won’t be returning to the new season of SNL.

NBC’s Saturday Night Live is gearing up for its new season, season 36. But Will Forte will not be returning in it.

The actor, whose SNL character MacGruber was the focus of a full-length feature film that opened in May, plans to pursue other opportunities, according to his publicist.

“After eight great seasons, Will has made the decision to move on from ‘S.N.L.’ to pursue new opportunities. He is eternally grateful to (producer) Lorne (Michaels) and all of the incredible people he worked with over the years,” a statement from Forte’s camp said.

I wonder if there could be any other reason for Will to quite. I’ll miss him though…..
