Sandra Bullock & Chris Evans Dating?

The rumor mills are crunching out stories suggesting that Sandra Bullock and Chris Evans are ‘almost’ a couple.

According to an E! News source, they’re in the early stages of “getting to know each other.” The source stated, “They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase. They haven’t put a title on it, but they really like each other.”

Rumors began surfacing about the pair in early May when the two were spotted sharing a meal together with Bullock’s friend Chelsea Handler. The previous month, they were also seen around Hollywood with Bullock’s former The Heat co-star Melissa McCarthy.

During their dinner with Handler, a casual observer told OK! Magazine that, “Chelsea looked like the odd man out – Sandy and Chris were talking and joking with each other for much of the time. Chelsea kept chiming in and they would include her but there seemed to be a connection between Chris and Sandy.”

Bullock’s friendship with Handler initially began when the women filmed a skit together for Handler’s late night talk show, Chelsea Lately.

Evans’ admiration for Bullock developed long ago. He has had a crush on her since he was a boy. Evans and Bullock met in 2012 at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party. Three months later he told Playboy that he had a crush on Bullock since seventh grade. “I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl. I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, ‘That’s her.’ I can’t say I know her, but from what I’ve heard, she’s fantastic,” he gushed of Bullock. He even told Details magazine that he had a big poster of Bullock on his wall while growing up.

Evans is currently filming Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, while Bullock could begin production on The Heat 2 soon.
