President Obama always seems to have the support of the who’s-who in Hollywood. The Oscar award winning actress Natalie Portman showed her support and campaigned for President Barack Obama in Las Vegas.
The Black Swan star joined political heavyweights Valerie Jarrett and Cecilia Munoz at the America-Nevada Women Vote 2012 Summit.
Natalie Portman says, “President Obama fights for women every day, and I am proud to stand with him on behalf of women and girls across the country.”
“The president has proven that he is a strong advocate for women and a defender of the issues that are important to women and their families, from affordable health care to fair pay and quality public education.”
The 31-year-old actress campaigned in support of President Obama at the first rally for what is being billed the “Romney-Ryan: Wrong for Women” Tour.
“I think the thing that is most upsetting in the past four years is how partisan they’ve been in blocking Obama‘s reforms,” Natalie said of the GOP (via the Las Vegas Review-Journal). “All of us should be putting our country first.”
