The much publicized break-up between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth in which we are all quite sure Miley was a mess, but we never really got to hear about Liam’s side of the story.
Liam has finally opened up about his ex and how he felt about Miley Cyrus. New York Post’s Page Six has overheard Liam’s conversation over dinner when he opened up about Miley.
Hemsworth reportedly said that he and the former Disney star would “always be best friends.” He even spoke about their level of attraction explaining that they had “an instantaneous and powerful connection.”
“Liam kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other. He also said they bought a lot of furniture but he had to leave it behind when they broke up and he got his new place, which was furnished,” the source revealed.
Although the media usually portrays Hemsworth as the only one with a broken heart, Cyrus revealed that the feeling was mutual. During an interview with Elle magazine, the former Hannah Montana star confessed that she initially thought she wouldn’t survive without Hemsworth.
“When I went through a really intense breakup — you know, I was engaged — and when I was with him [Hemsworth] or when I was on Disney, the thing that gave me the most anxiety was not knowing what to do with myself when Disney wasn’t there to carry me anymore or if I didn’t have him,” Cyrus said.
However, Cyrus admitted that even though she suffered a loss, time has healed her broken heart.
“And now I’m free of both of those things, and I’m fine. Like, I lay in bed at night by myself and I’m totally okay, and that’s so much stronger than the person three years ago, who would have thought they would have died if they didn’t have a boyfriend,” Cyrus said.
