Anna Paquin will not be returning to perform her iconic character as Rogue in the upcoming iteration of X-Men. It has been confirmed that she won’t be part of the cast for “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
Bryan Singer, the director of the movie, confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the scene featuring the 31-year-old beauty has been cut from the final film.
The scene, featuring a rescue, as shot early in the film’s production, showcasing the talnets of Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Shawn Ashmore, and it was the only sequence featuring Anna.
According to “X-Men: Days of Future Past’s” synopsis, “The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.”
