Amanda Bynes is serious this time. She is going to sue In Touch magazine that published a report claiming that 26-year-old Amanda Bynes was walking around naked in a New York City salon naked.
“That’s not true, I’ll sue,” Bynes told the website Celebuzz via text message Wednesday.
Bynes’ lawyer did not respond immediately to ABCNews.com’s multiple requests for comment.
In Touch magazine published a report last Thursday claiming the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star had been walking around the Beach Bum Tanning salon completely nude while in search of goggles.
The magazine quoted an eyewitness saying, “She didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked. She seemed totally out of it… There was definitely something wrong with her.”
With driving violations, court dates and countless headlines, Bynes has had a rough year. But the actress insists she’s doing just fine.
“I am doing amazing,” Bynes told People magazine in September. “I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line.”
The star of “Easy A” was charged with a DUI in June and two counts of hit-and-run in September. But she insists she doesn’t drink.
“I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false,” she told People.
