Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack
Oh God! Late actress Brittany Murphy’s husband was found dead today in LA. Brittany Murphy died just 5 months before at the age of just 32. This is really a shocking and sad news. Simon Monjack has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles. He was found dead in the same bathroom where his wife dies 5 months prior. I guess this is whats true love.
Police spokesman Sgt Louie Lozano said the British screenwriter was found dead at his house in Hollywood Hills on Sunday night.
He added that the preliminary cause of death was natural causes but investigators are still at the scene. Iron-deficiency anaemia and “multiple drug intoxication” were secondary factors in her death.
“My world was destroyed yesterday,” Simon Monjack told Access Hollywood after the death of his wife, who starred in Clueless, 8 Mile and Just Married.
Monjack and Murphy married in 2007.
Monjack wrote the original story of Factory Girl, which was then turned into a screenplay – the 2006 film starred Guy Pearce and Sienna Miller as pop artist Andy Warhol and his muse, Edie Sedgwick.
Simon was just 39. A really sad ending to what could have been a beautiful family.
