Ben Harper has filed for divorce from his wife for 5-years Laura Dern. They have been dating for 5-years before getting married. This marks the end of a 10-year relationship.
the Grammy Award-winning musician filed legal documents to end his marriage to the former “Jurassic Park” star on Friday, according to TMZ.
The documents site January as the month of the couple’s separation, though TMZ claims to have spoken with a source close to the couple who says the pair has been “living and traveling together throughout the year and were even intimate as recently as last week.”
The couple dated for five years before tying the knot in 2005. They have two children – Ellery, 9, and Jaya, 5.
The 40-year-old “Steal My Kisses” singer reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and is asking the judge to deny Laura spousal support, as well as joint legal and physical custody of their two children, according to the site.
