For their seventh child, the Lairs entrusted their friend Andrea Silvey with the gender before they found out. Silvey then baked a cake that would be either pink or blue inside for the big reveal. At first, Lair can’t handle the pressure.
“Initially, on baby three and four, I’m thinking, there’ll be a girl at some point. They can’t all be boys. But after four and five and six, you’re kinda thinking, yeah they can,” she said.
While the mom is overwhelmed with happiness her boys aren’t really jumping with joy.
“I ran out the door,” Houston Lair, 5, told ABC 11. “I’m sick of girls.”
