Rescued Stray Dog Climbs Mount Everest!

A rescued stray dog has made everyone look back at it as it become the first dog to reach the base camp of Mt. Everest.

The once stray dog climbed from the depths of an Indian dump to make it to Mt. Everest.

The malnourished pup, Rupee, was rescued six months ago by owner Joanne Lefson, who got the dog into mountain-climbing shape by feeding it a diet of boiled eggs and rice.

Rupee, this week, became the first dog to ever reach Everest Base Camp in Nepal, an altitude of 17,598 feet.
