Madonna Performs ‘Express Yourself/Born This Way’

Madonna has performs her controversial “Express Yourself” / “Born This Way” mashup as she kicked off her “MDNA” tour in Israel.

Dressed as a marching band leader, the pop star started off by singing several verses of her 1989 hit, and then stopped for a brief dance routine before she segued into Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

Madge then continued going back and forth between the two songs before repeating the line “She’s not me.”

The remix, which first sparked controversy when rehearsal footage leaked earlier this week, is an interesting choice for Madonna who previously slammed “Born This Way” as a “redo” of “Express Yourself.”
