Talk about coincidence. Rebecca Black’s mega-hit ‘Friday’ has been taken off of YouTube this Friday. It has been removed from YouTube because of a copyright claim from Rebecca Black herself.

This is the message displayed in YouTube when you try to access the video, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Rebecca Black.”

Rebecca Black’s representative told the media that they sent a takedown notice to YouTube because of a dispute over the video with Ark Music Factory, the company Black’s parents paid $4,000 to produce the song and video.

Just a week back Ark Music Factory began charging the viewers $2.99 to watch the video.

Lawyers for Black and Ark Music have been haggling over who owns the rights to everything associated with “Friday” since it became a sensation earlier this year.
